“ Barbara I have known since childhood and she and Dan Paul were such dear friends to both my parents. She worked in the Tax Collector's office of Lincoln County when my mother, Laverne Lea was there and my dad, Coleman Lea was sheriff and tax collector of Lincoln County which was in 1968-1972. She was one of the sweetest, kindest ladies I have known as was Dan in being such a gentle hearted man. Until not too long ago I used to occasionally run into her around Brookhaven. She and her presence will be greatly missed by myself and others who have known her. May our God, the God of all comfort and mercy, comfort you and all who were acquainted with sweet Barbara in her passing. I, too, will miss her until we meet again. ”
