“ Mr. Barlow was my 7th grade science teacher at Gustine Middle School. He was one of those teachers you remember for introducing you to new ideas and experiences. Mr. Barlow took our science class to Hatfield Park in Newman to study the different species of birds. We all thought as middle school students in the early eighties we were too cool for that, but it was one of my most remembered field trips. Mr. Barlow was a kind man who opened young minds to the wonder of nature. My condolences to his family. ”
