“ I haven't seen Robert in over 55 years but my memories of him are vivid. I wanted to mention this to his family, that even as a child, Robert was so kind. Each time my parents would visit my Great Aunt Sis, he would make a point to play with us and take us to see their chickens. He'd take the time to gather eggs and show all of the Netherland sisters all around the farm animals and barn. It was exciting for us. He had a smile on his face and such a sweetness about him.
