“ Uncle John was a gentleman who loved his family and friends. He was always kind, soft spoken and never had a harsh word to say to or about anyone. Growing up it was always a treat to visit with him, Aunt Lorraine, Diane & Johnny in Metairie. Much later in life I was able to visit a couple of times during his retirement when he was living in the country - always such a relaxed and enjoyable visit as he always made you feel welcome - he seemed so happy and content; such a considerate, sweet and kind man.
