“ I served with Ken in 1998 when NZ SOF were working along side the 5th Group. Unbeknown Ken was sharing lessons learnt with our group during part of the tour. It was not until I worked along side Ken in Iraq from 2005 onwards, that we realised the world was indeed very small and that we served the same nation in different quarters. A great man in my eyes, who classed himself no higher then his peers. In true SOF form, expected the highest skills, drilled the details, shared the lessons so we could all survive and didn’t take fools.
