I write from England on the morning of Matthew's funeral and join in prayer with family and friends who are actually there. My wife, Brenda, and I live in gratitude that we were able to receive ministry from Matthew. On a number of occasions we shared pilgrimages with him both in UK and in the middle east. We also have lasting memories of when we joined him at Summit for a Holy Week and could see how deep was the affection which the people there had for Matthew.
Certainly through his scholarship, his compassion and his curiosity he has touch hundreds of lives
Thanks be to God and peace be to Matthew as he begins the most glorious pilgrimage of all
