Clinton B. Davis

Services for Clinton B. Davis, of Brookhaven are 2:00 pm, Saturday, September 26, 2020, at Wellman Baptist Church with burial at Easthaven cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5:00-9:00 pm on Friday, September 25, at Wellman and will resume from 11:00 until the time of the service on Saturday.

 

Mr. Clinton B. Davis, 73, went to be with his Lord on September 20, 2020, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born on June 18, 1947.

Mr. Davis served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam war. He received numerous service awards.

He was a member of Union Baptist Church and was retired as a motorman in the oilfield and from Lincoln County as a heavy equipment operator.

Mr. Davis was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Preceding him in death were his father, Benjamin Davis, mother, and stepfather, Willena Roberts, and Lee Roy Roberts, stepbrothers, Bobby Roberts,

and S.W. Roberts; stepsister, Pauline Hall, father, and mother-in-law, W.D. Boyte, Sr. and Lavada Boyte.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Linda Boyte Davis; son, Christopher Davis, of Columbia, MS.,

daughter, Alicia Davis Ragland, and husband, Jon of Georgetown, MS.; brother, Robert Lee Davis and (Jennifer) of Columbia, SC.;

sisters, Louise Busby (Tommy), Janie Hart (Gary), Mattie Peterson, Glenda Allen, Linda Johnson, Inez Johnston; stepsisters-in-law, Judy Roberts, and Janie Roberts.

He is also survived by grandchildren, Ashley Parks, Dusty Parks, Emily Parks, Grayson Davis, and great-grandchildren,

Bryson, and Brylee White along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

    Linda, so sorry to hear of Clinton’s passing. Out prayers and thoughts will be with you as you all adjust to this loss. But God will see you through.
