My heart goes out to Kirk’s family who he talked about all the time. I so miss seeing him bringing up patients from the ER to my floor and afterwards we would laugh and talk about all the old times and people we both knew. He always had a smile and would offer to help any way he could. I can’t hardly go to work without thinking of him and how much he is missed. I lost my good friend and this old world won’t be the same without him. I hope his sons will turn out to be just like their Dad. He was very proud of them. I pray that time will help with your loss. I will never forget him.

Theresa, I am so sorry to hear this. It breaks my heart for you and the boys. Kirk was so many good things! I, especially, will remember him for being the great mentor that he was to a lot of children, including my own. I will always be grateful to him for that. His presence in this world will surely be missed. We love you all!

My brother was a selfless man who would do anything for anyone. He’d give you the shirt off his back. He loved his family so much. We will miss him terribly. Our prayers go out to his wife Teresa and his two boys, Tony and Toby.
