Saturday, December 30, 2017 at Decell Memorial United Methodist Church with

visitation from 11:00 am until time of service.

Mr. Harold “Buzzy” Havard Clopton III, 72, went to be with the Lord on December 28, 2017.

He was born on August 5, 1945 to the late Harold Havard Clopton, Jr.

and Minnie Alice Gibson Clopton.

He was a member of Decell Memorial United Methodist Church and retired from

the position of Senior Vice President and Community Manager of the Monticello branch of First Bank.

Linda, Rickey Clopton and wife Mary and sister, Melnee Frazier and husband Ralph.

He is also survived by his granddaughter, Olivia Noland, along with many nieces and nephews.

With gratitude, the family wishes to thank Genail Bradley and Shirley Lurry,

two special angels sent by God to provide loving care to Buzzy.

    To Mike & Linda:
We all have an appointed time to live and love and let our life shine but when the time comes and light is no more, we must be ready to close the door . Let God determine the length of our days , knowing He has the answers only and always, about why, and who , and when and where while we live and love and continue to care for each and every one who is there. Sometimes tough, sometimes fun, sometimes a challenge, and sometimes none-yet our Lord will always remain the truth the way and the very same.

Buzzy's passing can only be described as bittersweet. Bitter because he will be missed by so many who loved him and by those who called him friend. Sweet because we know he is no longer chained by cancer and paralysis. Our thoughts and prayers are with family during this very difficult time. We are currently out of town and will not be home in time to attend the funeral. But rest assured we will be thinking of the family.
