Visitation services for Cody Dawson Mixon will be held on Thursday, October 26, 2017
at Riverwood Family Funeral Service in Brookhaven from 1:00 p.m. until the
funeral service at 3:00 p.m. Rev. Roy Craft and Rev. David Hedden will officiate
and interment will follow at Riverwood Memorial Park.
Cody, age 16, of Brookhaven, went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, October 24th,
in Brookhaven. He was the son of Doug Mixon and Angela Corley and a resident of
Brookhaven. Cody enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing video games and watching Netflix.
He also enjoyed soccer, baseball, and football. Cody was a kind hearted, caring
young man who will be dearly missed by all of those who knew him.
Cody is survived by his father, Douglas G. Mixon; mother Angela Corley and step-father,
Elijah Corley; brothers, Tyler D. Mixon and Jeffery Johnson; and sister, Carley M. Mixon.
He is also survived by his grandparents, Garland and Sue Mixon and Becky and Mike Corley;
great-grandmother, Viola Pace; aunt, Christina Morgan; and uncles, Joshua Morgan,
Johnny Morgan, and James Morgan.
He is preceded in death by his aunts, Beth Ann Morgan and Joyce Deneen Mixon.
She will have a graveside service at Greenoaks Memorial Park in Baton Rouge on Friday, October 27, 2017 at 1:30 p.m.
Mrs. Georgia Mae Allen Field, 88, went to her Heavenly Home on October 23, 2017.
She was born on June 28, 1929 to the late Willis and Lillie Allen.
She was a member of Florida Blvd. Baptist Church and was retired owner and hairdresser of
Georgia’s Beauty Carousel in Baton Rouge for over 50 years.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husband Robert L. Field; sisters, Flora Lee Hall and Mae Bales.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Richard Kirby Case and wife, Dorothy;
daughter, Edna Case Fauver and husband, Jimmy; sister, JoAnn Renfroe; 3 grandchildren, Toby Miller, Grady Steve Miller and Casey Miller;
she is also survived by 5 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Jessica Nicole Anding, age 47, of Brookhaven Mississippi, was drawn up into the arms of our glorious Lord and Savior on October 20, 2017 after a long and courageous battle with Charcot- Marie-Tooth disease. She was born on December 16, 1969 in New Orleans, Louisiana. Jessica graduated from Brookhaven High School, and continued her education at Copiah Lincoln Community College and the University of Southern Mississippi. She worked at Mamie Martin Elementary School, Logical Link Inc., and Edward D Jones, Co. Jessica spent her days crocheting, photographing nature, drinking coffee with her neighbors and friends, loving her nieces and nephew, and continuing her quest for knowledge by reading daily.
She was preceded in death by her father, Nelson Anding, and an aunt, Floyce Britt.
She is survived by her mother, Janice Anding Buford, her brother and sister in law, Jason and Staci Anding, her dearly loved two nieces and nephew, Amelia Anding, Marin Anding, and Grayson Anding, an uncle and aunt, Denny and Sherry Smith, an aunt and uncle, Marbeth and Reuben Jordan, and her special dachshund, Donder.

at Apostolic Lighthouse Tabernacle with burial at Bethel Temple Pentecostal Church Cemetery.
Visitation is Sunday, 5:00-8:00 pm October 22 at Apostolic Lighthouse Tabernacle.
Christopher Shawn Smith, 25, went to his Heavenly Home on October 20, 2017 in Franklin County.
He was born on September 5, 1992.
He was a Logging truck driver and was a member of Apostolic Lighthouse Tabernacle and Minister
with World Wide Pentecostal Fellowship.
Preceding him in death were his granddad, Larry Smith and grandparents, Eddie and Mary Jane Furr.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Amanda Kristen Roberson Smith; parents, Bubba and Martha Smith;
son, Micah Shawn Smith; daughter, Amelia Kristen Smith; sister, Teresa Grantham; grandmother, Patty Smith:
father and mother in law; David and Jerrie Roberson and family. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins
and nieces and nephews.

With visitation from 9:00 until time of service at the church.
Mrs. Dena Ruth Thompson, 77, went to her Heavenly Home on October 20, 2017.
She was born on March 5, 1940 to the late Albert Daniel White and Opelia E. White.
She was a member of Damascus Baptist Church in Hazlehurst and worked as a bookstore manager at Co-Lin.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Thomas Thompson; brothers, Harold White, William “Billy” White,
Malcolm White and Carey White.
Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Aaron D. Thompson, Bryan T. Thompson and Steven S. Thompson;
daughter, Vicki Thompson Greer and brother, Dennis White.
She is also survived by her 5 grandchildren, Candace Adams, Thomas Greer, Amanda Lupo, Chelsey Thompson, Aaron Thompson
and 6 great- grandchildren, Cody Adams, Chloe Adams, Chance Greer, Braxton Greer, Sadie Reynolds and Ellie Reynolds.
