“ Father Matthew brought his joie de vivre to his friendships, his parish work and his pilgrimages. Allen and I were blessed to travel with Matthew to England, including Canterbury. Our time traveling with him is among our fondest memories. He wove into his trips spiritual contemplation, the ability to meet priests and nuns of the Anglican communion, fascinating historical locations and fun. He taught us that God is always within and with you whereever you travel.
We miss Matthew. Our deepest sympathy to his parents and family that Matthew's presence among us was too brief. ”
