“ Susan and I extend heart-felt condolences to all of the Hutcherson family and to Jack's many friends. Having sailed with Jack during the 1990's came to greatly respect his vast engineering skills: quick diagnosis and resolution of any shipboard problem, beautiful welding, amazing lathe and machine work. He freely shared his knowledge and expertise, stood ready to help in any difficulty. He was a great shipmate, a steadfast friend, we will miss him always.
