Services for Louise Brown will be Wednesday, August 23, 2017 with the visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m.
until the funeral services at 2:00 p.m. at Riverwood.
Rev. Greg Warnock will officiate and interment will be in Riverwood Memorial Park.
Louise, age 90, went to be with her Lord on Monday, August 21, 2017 in Brookhaven. She was born on October 10, 1926
to Phillip and Lula Mae Cook. Louise served her country as a civilian Bomb Girl during World War II. She was also a member of the gardening clubs in Brookhaven,
as well as a dedicated member of First Baptist Church of Brookhaven. While Louise was a resident of Brook Manor Nursing Home, she was elected as the Valentine Queen.
Louise was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend that will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Louise is survived by her son, Lawrence Lester Brown, Jr and wife Gloria Jean; sister, Patricia Wallace;
grandchildren, Sara Michelle Highfill and husband Andy, Chelsie Leann Bowlin and husband Clayton, and Nicholas and Christopher Brown;
great-grandchildren, Lucas Bowlin and Levi and Amelia Highfill.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence L. Brown, Sr.; parents;
sons, Michael Craig Brown and Phillip Mitchell Brown; as well as four brothers.
