“ I just learned of Dan’s passing yesterday. I am saddened and shocked. We graduated in the same HS class in 1976; and we also both attended WV Institute of Technology.
Upon my graduation in 1981 I went S to Laurel MS and the oil patch there, I believe he continued on and got a second degree or maybe a Masters Degree before beginning his career at Dahlgren, VA.
So many college memories such as him listening to his favorite Karen Carpenter, or helping me to adjust the solid lifters on my 1965 4 door Malibu. Many of us nicknamed him - “Dan The Man Misch” as he sorts of had a commanding spirit when he was joked with.
RIP Dan, from so many posts, I know you were a great WVIT Engineer there in VA. And prayers for his surviving family.
