“ I am a fellow Law Enforcement Officer that worked in California. Upon retirement I came back to the south. I now live in Brookhaven. I mourn each and every LEO that falls in the line of duty, and grieve for the loss of another Brother.
Words cannot express the loss I feel, and I know it is no where the loss that his family feels. While I did not personally know Troy, I do know him as a Brother in Law Enforcement. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends, and I know that now that he has come to the "end of his watch" over us here, he will still be on watch over his family from his eternal home in Heaven. So long my Brother, one day I too will stand watch with you in HEAVEN. I will, God willing, be there to say my goodbye to your here on earth at your memorial. ”
