Funeral service for Canaan Clark Watts will be 1 p.m., Thursday, September 30, 2021, at Riverwood
with interment at Montgomery Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.
Canaan was born July 28, 2021, in Flowood, MS, to Jesse Dylan Watts and Haley Brooke Watts. He tiptoed back
to heaven September 24, 2021, he was loaned to his family for one- and one-half months. “But though our arms are
empty our hearts know what to do. Every beating of our hearts says that we love you.”
He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Michele Wallace; great grandmother, Lorean Wallace; great grandfather,
Danny Watts, and great grandmother, Cheryl Prather; uncle, Cody Davis; great uncle, Reggie Watts; and cousin, Shaun Wallace.
He is survived by his parents; brothers, Carter Swane Watts and Remington Kye Watts; his grandparents, Robin and Randy Watts
and Frank and Melanie Wallace; his great grandparents, Gordon Wallace, Virginia Rushing (Daniel), and Beverly Watts; one great,
great grandmother, Ann Lambert, better known as “mawmaw Beet”; aunts and uncles, Myranda and Cade McCullough,
Brianna Wallace (John), Avery Kate Wallace, Cole Wallace, Josh Wallace, and Joseph Wallace; he is also survived
numerous great aunts and uncles and cousins.
Services for Mr. Ronnie Dale Rollins, of Bogue Chitto are 10:00 am Saturday, September 25, 2021
at Riverwood Family with visitation from 5:00-8:00 pm Friday, September 24 at Riverwood.
Burial will be at Moak’s Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Ronnie Dale Rollins, 67, went to be with his Lord on September 23, 2021, at his residence.
He was born on March 24, 1954, to Doyle and Ruby Rollins.
Ronnie worked in the oilfield and was a member of Moak’s Creek Baptist Church.
He enjoyed fishing working on cars and anything his children and grandchildren were involved in.
Preceding him in death were his father; brother, Ricky Rollins; sister, Shirley Rollins; son,
Jeffrey Rollins, daughter, Pamela Honea,and great grandson, Fisher.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Betty Rollins; sons, Kenny Bowman and wife Jenny,
Lance Rollins and wife Kimberly, and Dale Rollins; daughters, Angie Cook and husband, Jake and
Tammy Beeson; and sister, Diane Davis.
He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, Robert, Kris, Courtney, Robin, Chris, Kadyn, Kayla,
John, Preston, Jacob, Ava, Taylor, Brady, Brittney, David and April, and 11 great grandchildren,
Tye, Drake, Addie, Brantley, Paxton, Jasper, Patterson, Lane, Kyzar, Kyptin, and Madelyn.
Graveside service for Robert Earl Hedgepeth will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, September 23, at Mission Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Hedgepeth, 38, of Wesson, MS, passed away September 19, 2021. He was born April 7, 1983, to Robert Jasper Hedgepeth
and Joyce Hedgepeth. He was a valuable employee, serving many roles at Broma’s Deli for over 10 years.
Mr. Hedgepeth was an active member of Mission Hill Baptist Church. He was always someone that you could count on with whatever
need to be done. Robert always dreamed of becoming a Police Officer. He had the utmost respect for Law Enforcement Officers and
collected all types of Police Memorabilia. He was a kind soul and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Robert is preceded in death by his father and his grandparents.
He is survived by his mother, Joyce Hedgepeth; his sisters, Donna Therrell (Dave), Mary Cope (John Mark), and Robin Pratt;
two uncles and one aunt as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and other loving family members and friends.
Funeral service for Mrs. Rebecca Ellen Green Hart will be 11 a.m., Friday, September 24, at Riverwood Family,
with burial in Twin Oaks Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m., Thursday, September 23, at Riverwood and
will resume at 10 a.m. on Friday before the service.
Mrs. Hart, 63, of Bogue Chitto, passed away September 21, 2021, in Jackson, MS. She was born in Brookhaven, MS,
on November 24, 1957, to Grady Walter Green, Sr. and Dorothy Nell Purifoy Green. She was a
Senior Engineering Technician with The Mississippi Department of Transportation, and a
member of the Church of Christ. Mrs. Hart was a devoted wife and loving mother. Her grandchildren were
the joy of her heart and life. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Those who remain to cherish her memory are her husband, Tom Hart; son, Luke Hart and wife, Kathy; daughter, Charity Sasser and husband, Mike; brothers, Grady W. Green, Jr. and Michael L. Mrs. Mary Inez White, 66, passed away September 15, 2021, at Lawrence County Hospital.
She was born on March 1, 1955, to the late James Louis White and Nora Bell White.
Mary loved to plan family events, cook, play with her grandchildren and make people happy.
She was a joy to be around and will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.
Preceding her in death were her parents and her husband, James House:

Mr. David Edwin Porch, 90, entered eternity to be forever with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ,
September 11, 2021, in Brookhaven, MS. He was born in Cirencester, England, October 17, 1930.
His parents are the late Fred and Mabel Porch. He was self-employed. Mr. Porch was a member of
Ridge Baptist Church and lived out his faith with grace. His favorite saying was “Praise the Lord for His amazing grace!”
He took great pleasure in yard work and gardening. He will be greatly missed by those who loved him.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother-in-law, Joseph Gomillion.
Those left to cherish his memory are his brother, Fred Porch; sister, Cecily Ruth Gomillion; his niece,
Rose Stokes and Carrie Cooper.
Danny Victor Hammond, 75, of Brookhaven passed away September 6, 2021, at Southwest MS Regional Medical Center
in McComb. He was born May 20, 1946, in Biloxi, Mississippi to Roland Cranford “RC” Hammond and Mary Lucille Hall Hammond.
They lived in Biloxi until Danny was in the sixth grade when they moved to Brookhaven to open the popular “Hammond's Drive-In.”
Danny graduated from Brookhaven High School in 1964 and went on to graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Math
and Science from the University of Southern Mississippi.
Danny retired in 2008 after twenty-three years of teaching in the Mississippi public school system. His teaching career
began in Pascagoula, then Loyd Star, and finally with the Brookhaven Public Schools at Alexander Junior High. He truly
believed that “if he could reach one child, then it was worth it all.”
Danny also served his community as a former Alderman, former member of the Jaycees, and former member of
Noon Lion's Club. He was a member of New Sight Baptist Church and then Central Baptist Church where he loved singing in the choir.
Like their father, Danny's children both graduated from Brookhaven High School – he never missed either of
their many games and performances. In the last few years, he was able to relive some of those memories
watching his grandchildren on the ballfield. On Fridays you could find him listening to BHS football and on
Saturdays his USM Golden Eagles.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, David Hammond.
Those he leaves behind to cherish his memory are his wife of fifty years, Kaye Davis Hammond; son, John Andrew Hammond;
daughter, Holly Hammond Thompson (Jarrod Thompson); sister, Mary Kathryn Moran (F.D. “Billy” Moran, Rear Admiral (Ret.));
five grandchildren, Drew Grim, Davis Hammond, Walt Hammond, Paxton Grim, and Adilyn Thompson; Nephews,
Del Moran (Brooke Moran), Derek Hammond, Dr. David Hammond Jr., and one niece, Kelly Kalamas (Paul Kalamas),
as well as other loving family members and friends.
Memorial service for Danny Victor Hammond will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, September 11, at Central Baptist Church.

Etta Pearl King, 49, of Brookhaven, passed from this life on Sept 8, 2021. She was born on October 1, 1971,
to James Ray Lambert, Sr. and Martha Pearl Fuller.
Preceding her in death was her husband Fred King and father James Lambert, Sr.
Those left to cherish her memory is her mother, Martha Fuller; son, James King and wife Markie; daughters,
Kristina King and Chelsea Baggett and husband Lonnie; brothers, James Lambert and wife Aimee and
James Ray Lambert, Jr. and wife Amanda; and a sister, Carolyn Harper and husband David. She is also
survived by 3 grandchildren, Madelyn Kate King, Jaylah Baggett and Mylah Baggett along with a host of nieces and nephews.
Mrs. King was an avid Dog Mom and will be deeply missed by her family.
Faye Lucile (Lucy) Case King, 86, of Brookhaven passed away at home with her family on September 8, 2021.
She was born on September 4, 1935, to the late Ras Case and Gladys Smith Case. She was the beloved wife of
Charlie J. King for 70 years. She was the loving mother of Cathey (Ricky) Ferguson, Scott (Sharon) King, Chris (Lydia) King,
and Cindy (Conrad) Mord; sister of Carolyn Boleware and stepsister of Barbara Garrett.
She was the proud grandmother of Seth Ferguson, Tye (Soon) Ferguson, Kala (Dalton) Bradley, Brittany (Jeff) Williams,
Carlie Smith, Lindi (Coby) Smith, Brooke (Jacob) Morse, and Sarah Beth King; and great-grandmother of fifteen.
She was preceded in death by her parents and stepmother, Jesse Case; brother, Dennis Case; sister, Catherine Case; and stepbrother, Ken Crosby.
She graduated from Co-Lin High School where she played basketball and was a Colette. Lucy enjoyed golfing, bowling, cooking (especially for family and friends),
sewing, and flower gardening (especially daylilies). She loved going to her children’s and grandchildren’s events. She was an avid fan of the Braves and the Manning brothers.
Lucy was an active member of Macedonia Baptist Church and loved her Sunday School class. She enjoyed assisting with refreshments during Vacation Bible School.
The family would like to thank her wonderful caregivers, Connie Cade, Catherine Ainsworth, Phyllis Francis, Lisa Brown, and Florida Butler for the love and care
they gave to their loved one. Also thank you to Deaconess Hospice and especially Dana Coke Hester.

Travis Howard Burr, 3 years old, passed away September 6, 2021.
He was born on February 19, 2018, to Clifford Smith and Megan Elizabeth Burr.
Travis was preceded in death by his mother, and brother, Christian Thomas Burr.
He loved playing with spider-man toys and wearing Halloween costumes all year around with his cowboy boots.
Those left to cherish his memory are his father, Clifford Wayne Smith; brothers, Wyatt Neal-McCoy Burr and Bobby Wayne Burr;
