Mr. Thomas Jasper Coghlan, 81, fought life’s final war with pain as death gave way to victory and he went home
to be with his living Savior, Jesus Christ.
Jasper was born in Lincoln County on October 27, 1938 to Frank Coghlan and L.E. Hammack Coghlan.
Jasper was preceded in death by his loving wife, Geneva Magee Coghlan, his parents; 3 brothers, Cecil Coghlan, Derald Coghlan,
Jack Coghlan; and 3 sisters, Laura Williams, Hazel Bordelon, and Faye Rollins; and great-grandson, Keithan James Bishop.
Those left to cherish their memories with Jasper are 2 daughters, Jan Davis and Kay Davis and husband, William;
brother, Garland Coghlan, and wife, Rose; sisters, Jean Murray and Carline Bordelon; 5 granddaughters, Michelle Hatfield,
Dawn Bishop, Chasity Furr, Evette Davis, Tabetha Taylor; 10 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

at Damascus Baptist Church Cemetery in Franklin County.
Mrs. Frances Charlene Wilson 75, went to be with her Lord on May 21, 2020 at Silver Cross Nursing Home.
She was born on July 17, 1944 to the late Charlie Green and Annabelle Green.
She was a member of Damascus Baptist Church and was a homemaker.
Mrs. Wilson enjoyed cooking, working in her flower beds, and refinishing furniture.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Johnny G. Wilson; and brothers, Edd Green and Harold Green.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Page Powe and husband, Michael; grandson, Ben Powe;
along with sisters, Helen Nunnery, and Virginia Calcote and husband, Landon; brothers, Gary Green and wife, Judy, Gordon Green and wife, Betty;
and other special family members, Brian and Lacey Powe, Travis Powe, Shane Powe and Alissa Powe.

Mrs. Elsie Jean Thompson, 84, went to be with her Lord on May 20, 2020 at Diversicare of Brookhaven.
She was born on August 17, 1935 to the late Martin Luther Smith and Julia Marguerite Case Smith. Mrs. Thompson was a homemaker
and a member of Friendship Baptist Church where she played the organ for 53 plus years. She was also a member and driver of the Homemakers Club and Golden Oldies.
Preceding her in death were her parents, brother, Harold Luther Smith, and nephews, Christopher Smith and Scott Smith.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Mike Thompson; son, Michael Thompson, and wife, Susan; daughter, Debra Gail Case, and husband, Donald;
brothers, Rev. Talmadge Eugene Smith, and Carey Lynnward Smith. She is also survived by her 5 grandchildren,
Dr. Chad Case and wife, Amy, Jessica Smith and husband, Todd, Kathryn Thompson, David Thompson and wife, Elizabeth and Craig Case along with 6 great-grandchildren.
Jewell Pritchard Williamson from Brookhaven, MS, passed from this life, May 18th, 2020.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children: Danny Williamson (Jill) of Hattiesburg, MS; Marcie Brown (Ronnie) of Youngsville, LA;
and Cheryl Boggan (Ricky) of Florence, MS. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Jewell was predeceased by her loving husband, Sherrod D. Williamson, Sr. in 2010, and Williamson baby girl.
Jewell loved to cook. Thanksgiving and Christmas were her favorite times of the year. She spent lots of time cooking traditional
southern food and trying out new recipes. Her 'ugly cookies' will always be a part of our family traditions.
She was known as Great-Grandma to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She spent many hours playing, having tea parties, and riding 4 wheelers with them. Great-Grandma simply adored all of them.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, May 22, 2020, at Union Church Cemetery.
Family visitation will be held from 9-10 a.m., Friday, at Riverwood Family.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in her memory to Be The Match Foundation or St. Jude's Hospital.

Graveside service for Mr. Wallace L. Cupit of Brookhaven is 1:00 pm, Wednesday, May 20, 2020, at Easthaven Cemetery.
Mr. Wallace L. Cupit, 82, passed away May 16, 2020, at his residence.
He was born April 14, 1938 to the late John Henry Cupit and Corene Smith Cupit.
He was a farmer and enjoyed fishing and gardening.
Preceding him in death were his parents; wife, Barbara Cupit; and two brothers and three sisters.
Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Becky G. Bessonette; brother, Charles Pete Cupit;
sister, Catherine Sanders; two grandchildren, Adam Bessonette and wife, Sherry and LeAnn Perry and husband, Danny;
and two great-grandchildren, Aidan, and Addison Bessonette.
Lynda Hernandez, 72 years old, born on November 22, 1947, to the late Nina Pearl Kinard Calhoun and Burrell Roger Calhoun,
went to be with her Lord on May 15, 2020. She was a long term resident of St. Bernard, LA
but was staying with her daughter in Brookhaven, MS due to long term complications of a stroke.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband James "Buddy" Hernandez, her children Scarlett Pilet Thompson and Warren Hernandez;
her beloved stepchildren, Debbie Fos, Lorraine, Ricky, Jimmy, and Danny Hernandez; her 16 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren,
and 3 great-grandchildren; her sister Minnie Duhe; as well as many others that she had adopted as her own over the years.
Preceding her in death was her son Tony Ray Nunez and her beloved stepson Wayne Hernandez; sister Virginia Calhoun
and her brothers Buford, Joseph, and Michael Calhoun.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Gwendolyn Ann Ledet Wallace, 77, a native of Houma and resident of Bogue Chitto, MS, passed away on Friday, May 15.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Terry M. Wallace, Sr; 4 children, Terry Wallace, Jr. and wife, Kelly,
David Wallace, Kayla Wallace Fornof and husband, Col. Terrence Fornof, and Monica Wallace;
6 grandchildren, Justin Fornof, Capt. Alexander Fornof (Rachel), Candice Vicknair (Eric), Victoria Wallace,
Michael Wallace, Leyla Lewis; and 1 great-grandchild, Landon Parfait.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Calvin Ledet and Rosalie Pye Ledet, her brother, Daniel Ledet,
and her in-laws, Vernon Wallace, Sr. and Virginia Toups Wallace.
Gwen was a retired school teacher aid for Terrebonne Parrish School Board for 20 years.
No arrangements have been made at this time.
Mr. Michael Charles Stamps, 59, of Silver Creek went to be with his Lord on May 15, 2020, at his home.
He was born on August 6, 1960, to the late Charles Houston Stamps and Margaret Nell Thurman Stamps.
He was a Plumber and Electrician and business owner.
Mr. Stamps was a member of Arm Baptist Church. He was a 3rd Degree Master Mason and a member of Silver Creek Masonic Lodge.
He will be missed by all that knew and loved him.
Preceding him in death were his parents.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Sharon Barnes Stamps; son, Justin Stamps; daughter, Jennifer Keyes; and sister, Cindy Vince.
He is also survived by four grandchildren, Aidan Stamps, Blake Stamps, Claire Keyes, and Emma Keyes.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, May 21 at 11.00 am. It will be held outside due to social distancing.

Private graveside for Mr. Vencie Ladell “Smokey” Smith of Brookhaven will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, May 18, 2020, at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Vencie Ladell “Smokey” Smith, 87, went to be with his Lord on May 15, 2020, at St Dominic’s Hospital. He was born on August 23, 1933,
to the late Claude Brantley Smith and Emily Catherine Covington Smith.
Mr. Smith served in the United States Army and was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. He was retired from Holsum Bread Company, Flovo-Rich Milk Company,
and as a driver for Smith Logging.
He was an outstanding, self-taught violinist. He loved country music and especially gospel music. He also loved playing in the band with his brothers.
Preceding him in death were his wife, Earlene McCaffrey Smith; parents; brothers,
Roger Smith, David Talmadge Smith, and Shaffer Smith; great-niece, Kimberly F. Lofton, nephew, Ron Herrington; brothers-in-law, Bill McCaffery,
James Lloyd McCaffery, Claude McCaffery; sisters-in-law, Helen Stubbs, Dorothy Coke, and Theresa Whittington.
Those left to cherish his memory are his brother, Kenneth Smith, and wife, Martha; sisters-in-law, Diane Burnett and husband Leroy, Jean Burnett
and husband James; ex sister-in-law, Faye Smith; along with special nieces, Rita Cook and husband Roy, Nita Case, Viva McGowen; great-niece, Alexis Cook;
