“ Charles Clark and I were puppy love childhood sweethearts from 1st grade thru 10th grade at Topeka-Tilton. You never forget your first love & a couple months prior to his sickness, I was parked at a park & he was standing by the river on the deck in thought! As he approached, I knew it was him, had been since 1972 I’d seen him! I’m so glad I did for the last time but I wished I’d gotten a photo of us ! I missed the memorial due to a contagious sickness. My heart is broken. My sincerest sympathy to all the family! It’s just unreal! I’ll never forget him! ”
