“ Wally was a good friend. We will cherish the many special luncheons, other occasions and pleasant conversations we have shared with him and Gerald over the years, especially since 2003 when we moved back to Brookhaven. We even moved into his neighborhood and went to the same church and have enjoyed the close relationship that evolved since that time. My wife Jan remembers many fond memories of growing up across from the Swanson family and playing with the Swanson children, especially Martha who was close to her age. He will be missed. ”
