You were your brothers earthly guiding light always willing to help him. You both worked very long & done hard work, retirees of jobs in life! He loved how you referred to him as “ Brother”. With you gone, Daniels days as the last son of Jack & Leila Ellen Walker-Lord are hard to bear. Due to his heart health, it restrained him many times that he wanted to see you but didn’t. Life is already different knowing you won’t come back! You are missed. You would sing “ I’ll Fly Away” & now you have! As your sister-In-law only 12 years, I treasure every smile you gave me & surely loved your sense of humor! We loved you Archie” Red” & Georgia will try to be ok! You were her lifetime partner & true love! Monticello people will miss your LOUD VOICE now silent! What a wonderful soul now residing in presence of His God that he Loved! I’m happy I was Blessed to know you! Daniel & I will someday join you in Heaven! Holler out, “Hey, I’m Over Here!” See you then! Laraine RENFROE-Brister Lord.

We will miss your booming voice filling the room with gospels and truth, your hugs and handshakes, your wit and laughter, and the way you can tell a story. You were one of my favorite uncles and I am dearly sorry that I didn’t get to come and visit with you one last time. I will miss you.
