I always thought a lot of Mrs Veda. We worked together at KDMC. Always had a pleasant attitude and beautiful smile. Last time I saw her was at Pleasant Grove Church. I will miss her. Prayers for her family and Mr Billy. May the memories of yesterday bring each of you smiles for the tomorrows. Rest in peace Mrs Veda.

Aunt Veta Grace was truly a remarkable person whom I grew up knowing and loving my entire childhood and adulthood life. Memories of her always remind me of how kind, generous who always had a special (smith) smile on her face. My last memory of her was when I was home with my mom Mary, during her last days on this earth Aunt Veta sitting by her side holding her hand talking about past memories they had shared together. She was such an amazing woman who touched so many lives who will be deeply missed but will never be forgotten and will live in our hearts forever.

As I think about times of being Ms Veta’s caregiver I thought of a time I told her when I grow up I want to be just like you. She responded Why would you want to be like me ? With a reply, I said Ms Veta you was a strong woman with a sweet spirit to raise such a great family. I see the outcome of being a wife, mom, Maw maw and great maw maw . That’s enough right there my dear. I enjoyed watching her grand daughters play ball as we watched together on the phone. I got really into the game. Rest my sweet friend. My prayers for the family cause I know you will miss her cause just this short time i was with her I will miss her too. Thank you for being so kind to me and welcoming me into your home. Also entrusting me to become a part of her life. Keep me in your prayers as God sends me on my next journey in life to be with someone else. God bless with love, thoughts and prayers Brenda
