Stephen Lynn "Bone" Dickey

The funeral service for Stephen Lynn “Bone” Dickey will be 10 a.m., Wednesday, November 22, at Lucien Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation is from 4-7 p.m., Tuesday, November 21, at Riverwood.

Mr. Dickey, 68, of Brookhaven, passed away November 18, 2023, at his residence. He was born in Brookhaven, MS, December 29, 1954, to Hugh Edward Dickey and Maxine Coleman Dickey. He was a Pipeline Maintenance Supervisor in the oil and gas industry.

Mr. Dickey is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Gwen Schilling Dickey; daughter, Britan Dickey Pruski and husband, Nathaniel; brothers, Hugh Edward Dickey, Jr. and Keith Dickey; and two grandchildren, Harleigh Pruski and London Pruski. He is also survived by other loving family members and friends.

    Mrs. Dickey - I spent the day at your home with Steve, Eddie and my brother Randy a few years back. I recall how nice you both were to me, but especially Steve. He took time to show me how to locate Indian Arrowheads and such. A fascinating man to say the least.

    I just heard about Steve and I cannot express how sorry I am. I counted Steve a dear friend. I have nothing but fond memories of him and Keith. May the LORD keep you and give you peace. Rest knowing we will see him again.
