Mr. Johnny Wayne always made me laugh and smile. We could always talk about church, the Lord, and music. He was a character and I will miss him. I enjoyed working with him and having the opportunity to hear him play one Sunday at Calvary Baptist Church in Natchez. Mrs. Paula and family, y'all are in my thoughts and prayers.

Kept searching his arrangements but just discovered it was with another business. Johnny Wayne was in my class at FCA, graduating 1973. He was such a great friend to everyone he knew. Such a great way about him always left you filled with joy. I hate I missed his service today. May God be with you and his family. He will be missed by many. I can hear him now singing Beulah Land with the Heavenly angels and his reunion with those loved ones gone before him. God be with you all♥️

Johnny Wayne was a special person. We had some good times in the band. He got upset with me when we were all at Les hills house because my hair was maroon. He said that the only two people he knew that had blonde hair was me and Wanda Gail holland. I will miss him. And from the franklin county class of 1973 we r so sorry for your loss and he will be missed. Take care Paula, Matt and your families.

I'm so glad he trusted in me enough to allow me to purchase his upright bass. Johnny Wayne taught me so much through the years. One of my very best friends. I first met him in Mountain view AR.
