Vickey Ann Williams

The funeral service for Vickey Ann Williams will be 10 a.m., Wednesday, January 29th at Riverwood Family with burial in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Bogue Chitto, MS. Visitation is from 5-8 p.m., Tuesday, January 28th at Riverwood and will resume from 9 a.m. until the time of the service on Wednesday.

Mrs. Williams, 68, of Brookhaven, died January 25, 2025, at River Oaks in Flowood, MS. She was born in Tulsa, OK, May 10, 1956, to Glen Ashworth and Mary Elizabeth Burns Ashworth.

Vickey was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed preparing delicious meals and inviting everyone to join her. She had a delightful personality, never met a stranger, and wouldn’t let you leave without getting her hug. She enjoyed working in flower beds and shopping. Vickey also treasured the time she spent fishing with her children and grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her.

She is preceded in death by her parents and two grandsons, Dylan Williams and Addison “Bubba” Reed.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Roger Williams; children, Cynthia Carithers (Michael), Amanda Moak (Trent), Rhonda Arevalo, Shane Reed (Kim), Andrew Williams (Jordan); stepsons, Eric Williams (Patricia), and Ben Williams; sisters, Glenda Reed (Don) and Karen Holmes (Ronnie); brother, Kurmit Ashworth (Claudette); 23 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She is also survived by a special caregiver, Lakan Jenkins as well as a host of other loving family members and friends.

    So sorry to hear of her passing. Remember well our being neighbors when we first moved to B.C. Never seen her without a smile. Praying for everyone.
