Carolyn Lewis Roberts

Graveside service for Carolyn Yuvonne Hales Lewis Roberts will be 10 a.m., Monday, February 10, at Beauregard Cemetery in Beauregard, MS.

Mrs. Roberts, 79, of Wesson, died February 8, 2025, at her residence. She was born in Brookhaven, on March 7, 1945, to J.W. Hales and Clara Lucille “Polly” Fox Hales.

Carolyn was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was an avid sports fan, enthusiastically cheering on her Tennessee Vols. In the quiet time she enjoyed picking up a good book and reading. Carolyn owned and retired from We Wrap It. She was a member of New Sight Baptist Church. Carolyn will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all who loved her.

She is preceded in death by her husbands, Larry Joe Lewis, Sr. and Norris Roberts and by her parents, J.W. and Polly Hales.

She is survived by her children, Larry Joe Lewis, Jr. and Michael Dean Lewis (Darlene); two grandchildren, Drew Lewis (Angie) and Anna Gunn (Sam); one great grandchild, Malakai Lewis; cousin, Bob Fox of Knoxville, TN; lifelong friends, Carolyn Howington and Sonya Cowen. She is also survived by her faith family at New Sight as well as other loving family members and friends.

Mrs. Robert’s family extends appreciation to Bristoll Hospice in Brookhaven, MS.

    I’m so sorry for the loss of your mother Mike and Joe. I’ll always remember how much she and Norris enjoyed great gospel music. We spent many times sharing together the blessings and fellowship of some great Christian singers. I remember Ms Hale also your grandmother, she was a very sweet lady. God Bless and keep y’all
