Pamela Jean Kimmons

A Celebration of Life for Mrs. Pamela Jean Kimmons will be held on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at 11:00 am, at Riverwood Family with Memorial Gathering and Visitation on Monday, March 10, 2025, from 5:00 – 7:00 pm also at Riverwood.

Pamela Jean Kimmons, 67, of Brookhaven, entered into eternal rest on March 7, 2025. Pam was born in Griffin, Georgia, on October 23, 1957, to Leon Austin Morris and Bobbie Jean Morris (née Horsley).

A lifelong and faithful member of the Church of God, Pam dedicated many years to leading and supporting church youth programs. She was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, and sister, as well as a diligent homemaker and “Queen of Potlucks”. Pam had a deep love for animals, both personally and professionally, as a pet groomer and kennel owner for decades.

Pam was also a brilliant student—Valedictorian of her very large high school class and later an honor student at Ambassador College, where she made a number of lifelong friends and maintained a 4.0 GPA. That is, until she met Anthony and earned her first B!

Preceding her in death was her father, Leon Morris.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 46 years, Anthony Kimmons; mother, Bobbie Morris; and sons, Ben Kimmons (and wife, Jessica) and Nathan Kimmons (and wife, Siririn). She is also survived by her brother, Chris Morris (and wife, Tamra).

The family would like to thank the local area hospitals and Arden Hospice for their recent compassionate care of Mrs. Pam.

    Such a wonderful, God-loving lady.

Mr. Anthony & Miss Pam opened their home to "Two Crips and a Chihuahua" following hurricane Ida.

There aren't enough words to properly demonstrate our appreciation and love for them.

They made it so easy to give our hearts to them, because they gave theirs to us, first.

There are no words for the legacy Pam has left for her family and friends.

She made a difference in so many lives. I am grateful to have been a part of her life and call her my friend.

She was a child of God.

I’m so so sorry to hear about Pam’s passing. I met a long while ago and she was such a sweet person. I lost my husband Jan 11 and I know for the family this will be so difficult. God bless her and her family!

What a dear woman we have been blessed to have known over the years. She was a graciously sweet young lady, wife and mother that we all observed through the years and was always so gracious and forgiving. A constant calm is how I would describe her character and as we would talk from time to time over the years, she would always speak of her love for God and Jesus. Very wise lady.
Our lives go back to her being a newlywed in Mobile and the younger adults who went to church there. Those were the good ole days that I cherish in memory, and Anthony, you and Pam always were in there somewhere with entertaining. As the years have gone by, we may not have seen one another, but we always knew where you were and knew a family member or friend who knew how you were doing.
The dreadful and deep loss that she leaves is a grief that is unthinkable. We share with you Anthony, boys, and Mrs. Morris, the precious memories and loss.
We will pray fervently for your comfort these coming days, months or years that you will be without your precious Pam.
We LONG for that day when Yeshua Jesus calls her name out of her temporary sleeping place to eternity. Until that day, we pray for comfort and sustaining power for you, her family.
Love and prayers be with you dear ones. Terry and Sondra Beam

I was deeply saddened to hear about Pam’s death. My only interactions with her were at the FOT or WT events, where we exchanged polite hellos and had brief conversations. Nevertheless, she always stood out to me. You could see the kindness in her eyes, the strength in her spirit, and the warmth in her heart. She was truly a rare and radiant soul.
I look forward to the day when we can reunite and get to know one another better. Rest in peace, dear sister-in-Christ, until that time.

    Anthony and family,

So sorry to hear of Pam’s passing but also thankful that her struggle and pain are at an end. While we will mourn her death, we will also cherish the knowledge that she is safely in Yeshua’s care, awaiting the day of the last trumpet when Pam will live again and take her place in the kingdom of God.

    YBIC,
    Steve & Sue Sanders

My heart goes out to the family of one of the sweetest people I have ever known. Like her mother, Bobbie, Pam was a kind and gentle soul. As a childhood friend she was a calming influence, as adults she was one to admire. Until we meet again, Pam, you will be of blessed memory.
