Funeral service for Mrs. Nelda Faye Coghlan Rollins will be 1 p.m., Tuesday, July 16, 2019, at New Prospect Baptist Church,
with interment in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, at Riverwood.
Mrs. Rollins, 79, of Brookhaven, completed her journey here on earth Saturday, July 13, at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center,
with her family by her side. She now resides with her Lord and with the others who have gone before her. Mrs. Faye was born May 11, 1940,
to her parents, the late Frank Luther Coghlan and L E Hammack Coghlan. She worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse until her retirement and
has been a faithful member and friend of New Prospect Baptist Church. Mrs. Faye was not an idle person, she was a member of the
Fifty Plus Club, Golden Girls, and the Lucy Keene Sunday School Class at New Prospect. She was a kindhearted lady, and she loved
her family with all her heart. Spending time with her grandchildren was the bright spot in her life. She was an excellent gardener as
well, flowers being her favorite pastime. She also loved raising all kinds of animals, including quails and chickens. There will truly
be no replacement for our mother and grandmother and friend.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Ray Rollins; parents; sisters, Hazel Bordelon and Laura Williams; and brothers, Jack Coghlan,
Derald Coghlan, and Cecil Coghlan.
Those who remain here to cherish her memories are her daughters, Cynthia Rollins-Smith (Chuck) and Sherry Hatcher (Randall); brothers,
Jasper Coghlan and Garland Coghlan; sisters, Jean Murray and Carline Bordelon; three precious grandchildren, Cody Smith, Lauren Hatcher,
and Garrett Hatcher; and her special friends, Hilda Pritchard, Aloise Beasley, Doris Gill, Francis Granger and Pina Ritchie;
as well as other loving family members and friends.
Mrs. Laura Bell Herring Butler, 82, of Brookhaven passed away July 13, 2019 at her residence.
There will be a time of visitation at Riverwood Family from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 16.
Mrs. Laura Bell was born January 7, 1937 to her parents, Clarence Herring and Mary Edell Womack Herring.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend as well as a member of Fair River Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents and several brothers and sisters.
Those who remain to cherish her memory are, her husband of 65 years, Malcolm “Buck” Butler, Sr.; children,
Judy Butler Case, Malcolm Butler, Jr., Nancy Butler Grace, and Wanda Butler Bell; brother, Lonnie Herring;
and numerous grandchildren as well as other loving family members and friends.

Mr. Ronald Wayne Givens, 65, passed away July 13, 2019 at his residence.
He was born on January 13, 1954 to the late Carlie McLain Givens and Susie Merle Green Givens.
He was a Oilfield Supervisor for Nabors Offshore and Rough Edge Enterprise.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting, woodworking and spending time with his family.
He is preceded by his parents; daughter, Shana Faye Givens;
grandson, Joshua Levi Givens; sisters, Frances Adams, Elaine Avery and brother, William Givens.

Mrs. Sherry Jaynelle Foster, 69 went to be with her Lord on July 10, 2019 at her residence.
She was born on January 28, 1950 to the late Ray Dorman Stokes and Mildred Ellen Herring Stokes.
She was a member of Harmony Baptist Church where she was involved in church function and activites.
She was also a member of the Brookhaven Alpha Lions Club.
Preceding her in death were her parents.

Mr. Edward Louis Coburn III, 48, of Crystal Springs, passed from this life July 10, 2019 at his residence. He was
born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana September 15, 1970 to Edward Louis Coburn, Jr. and Mildred Gail Duck. His love
for the river earned him employment as a Riverboat Captain.
He is preceded in death by his father and grandparents, Edward, Sr. and Ruby Coburn and Charles and Kathleen Larsen.

Mr. Brister, 79, of Brookhaven, passed from this life and after 21 years of being unable to walk on this earth, walked into the arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ,
Wednesday, July 10, 2019. He was born February 5, 1940, to the late Melton H. and Tera Smith Brister. He worked as a Motorman in the Oil Field Industry
and was a member of Topisaw Baptist Church. Paul was an active sports participant in high school, playing basketball and baseball, and in his adult life, was
an avid rabbit, turkey, and squirrel hunter. He was a very special and loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather, and spent much quality time
with all his family. He will be greatly missed by all those who love him.
He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Robbie D. Brister; brothers, Henry Brister, Bill Brister, and Sammy Brister; sister, Merle Buie; nephew, Ronnie Robinson;
nieces, Karon Nichols and Shay Daughdrill; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Barbara Daughdrill, Evelyn Brister and Prentiss Buie; and his father and mother-in-law, Ray and Nona Daughdrill.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Charlotte Daughdrill Brister; son, Mark Brister (Andrea); daughter, Angie Phelps (Donald),

and loving puppy, Kasey Marie.

Ms. Breland, 53, of Brandon, passed away July 8, 2019, in Carthage, MS. She was born June 28, 1966. She worked as a Programmatic Analyst at
Son Valley and was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. Ms. Deborah was an outdoors lover, enjoying fishing, camping and being in the fresh air
and sunshine. She was a wonderful cook and blessed her family by sharing this gift with them. Her family was her greatest passion. She will be missed
by all who loved her.
She is preceded in death by her father, Beason Pat Breland; grandfather, Wilbur Blair; and grandmother, Rose Mary Prewitt.
Those who remain to hold her memory close are her fiancé, Jose Moreno; mother and step father, Rosie and Frank Mercier; sons, Corey Breland (Joanna),

Mrs. Jackson, 60, of Brookhaven, passed from this life July 9, 2019, at her residence. She was born May 1, 1959 to the late Huey and Lydia Rowells. She was retired from Delphi. Mrs. Jackson was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all who knew her. She enjoyed spending her retired years with family and she treasured her special little friend, Snazzy. She was a fan of her family, but she was also a Saint’s Football fan. Her friends and fellow church members at Union Hall Baptist Church will miss her presence there.
She is preceded in death by her parents.

Oliver Hux, 79, passed from this life on July 6, 2019, at his residence. He was born on July 6, 1940, to Berkley Conway Hux and Rena Mae Wilkerson Hux.
He is gone but not forgotten, retired as a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, along with serving county jobs he enjoyed. His hobbies were hunting, fishing, working on vehicles, gardening, and using his hands-on wood crafts.
