Elaina Lee Wilson

Elaina Lee Wilson, 66, of Brookhaven, passed away January 27, 2025, at her residence. She was born in San Diego, California, June 3, 1958, to Thomas Wilson and Mildred Nold Wilson.

Our mom was a fierce friend. She loved her family and too many friends to list. She was the definition of “loyal”. She loved her pets and “grand puppies”. She enjoyed listening to music, and despite being almost blind, she always had a new book to read. In less than 24 hours after she passed, the outpouring of messages we have seen from her “Broma’s kids”, who worked with her for over twenty years until she retired in December, has been humbling. We will always be proud of who she was and who she raised us to be.

Ms. Wilson is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Terry Wilson; and friend, Vanessa Pohl.

Those left to cherish her memory are sons, Nicholas Martin and James Martin (Heather), and brothers, Thomas Anthony Wilson, Robin Wilson, Dennis Wilson, and James Wilson.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Brookhaven Animal Rescue League or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

No words can express my heartache. What a wonderful and blessed lady, hardworking, dedicated, and benevolent. God bless little sister.
