Funeral service for Sheila Marie Thompson will be 11 a.m., Friday, August 12, at Monticello United Pentecostal Church, with interment in Wellman Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation is Thursday from 6-9 p.m. at Monticello UPC.
Mrs. Thompson, 65, of Tylertown, passed from this life August 7, 2022, in Hattiesburg, MS. She was born in Monticello, MS December 15, 1956, to Roy Lee Moak and Alice Mae King Moak. She was loving wife, mother, and grandmother, and even welcomed one great grandchild into her heart.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 21 years, Felix “Chimp” Thompson; her parents, Roy Lee Moak and Alice Mae King Moak ; stepdad, Emmit Thompson; sisters, Oline Mixon and Barbara Jean Moak; brothers, Roy Moak, Jr., Troy Lee Moak and Stevie Joe Moak.
She is survived by her sons, Michael Thames and wife, Tessa; daughters, Alison Thames and Katie Carfaro and husband, Kory; brother, James Moak; sisters, Mary Wallace, Frances Boyd, Mildred Easterling, Patsy Adams, and Brenda Anderson; 12 grandchildren, Ashley Carter (Colton), Gage Boyd, Grace Thames, Alyssa Thames, Steven Thames, Scarlet Thames, Rylea Wibright, Lane Wibright, Jaxx Cafaro, Autumn Cafaro, Gabriella Cafaro, and Danyell Carson; and one great grandson, Cason Carter. She is also survived by her boyfriend, Jeff Stringer as well as other loving family members and friends.
