A graveside service for Mr. Lee Roy Callender are 11:00 am, Monday, October 31, 2022 at Adams Methodist Church Cemetery in Summit, MS.
Lee Roy Callender, 72, of Bogue Chitto, passed away October 26, 2022, in McComb.
He was born October 7, 1950, to the late Ailyus and Helen Callender.
Mr. Callender was a very loving husband, father and grandfather.
He was a former driver of the Decade at the Pike County Speedway and was Sportsman of the Year for a couple of years. He was an excellent dry wall installer and painter.
Lee was also an avid hunter. He loved playing pranks and telling jokes.
Preceding him in death were his parents; brother, Ronnie Callender; granddaughter, Ashley Cheyenne Hunt; mother-in-law, Essie Westbrook; grandmother-in-law, Grace Grice and friend (brother) Keith Smith. Also, Bertha Mae Westbrook.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 45 years, Nancy Westbrook Callender; son, Rusty Callender and wife, Tanya; daughter, Christi Callender; brothers, Allen Westbrook and Jeff Fauver; sisters, Judy Callender, Lynn Prescott, and Christine Fauver, along with three grandchildren, Victoria McCullough (Austin), Gina Callender (Matthew), Taylor Gordon (Caleb) four great grandchildren, Dawson McNabb, Travis and Carson McCoullough and Brantlee Callender.
He is also survived by Larry and Sherry Disotell; father-in-law, Winton Westbrook, two special nephews, Preston Fauver and Blake Fauver; and special sister-in-law, Barbara Boyd and husband Rocky, and a number of nieces and nephews. Lee loved his family very much and will be missed by all that knew and loved him.
