Shirley Ann Furr, 75, of Sontag, passed away February 10, 2025, at St. Dominics Hospital in Jackson, MS. She was born in Oakdale, LA on April 27, 1949, to Eddie Sexton Furr and Eula Ashworth Furr. Mrs. Furr worked for many years as a clothing presser at Enoc Case’s Cleaners.
Mrs. Furr loved her family above all things and enjoyed the time she was able to spend with them. She liked listening to Cher and Celine Dion’s music and she was a pro at Dominoes. A favorite pastime for her was riding horses and caring for her precious fur babies. She will be greatly missed by those who loved her.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Henry Furr.
Survivors include her sisters, Thelma Swan, Ellie Mohon, and Betty Williams and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and many great and great-great nieces and nephews.
The family extends appreciation to Cassandra and Kennedy from St. Dominics.
