I’m in Brookhaven visiting my dad, Bryant Johnston, & thought of your mom when I passed her house. Both my parents went to Johnston Station with her. They stayed friends for life. Ms. Joyce & Mrs. Morton catered my wedding, too(1981). I live in FL so I didn’t know at the time of her passing. I’m sorry for your loss.

Betsy, Mother and I were sorry to hear about your mother. She was such a special lady. One of my memories of her was her hosting a bridal shower for me at her home. She had such a generous and giving spirit. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

I loved Mrs. Joyce. She was a good friend to my sister, Becky. I used to see her all the time at the Health Dept where she worked with my sister. She also directed and catered our wedding many years ago! I know she prayed for us over the years. She will be missed. Praying for all the family.

I am so sorry to hear of Ms Joyce’s passing! My family always loved her! My Dad Dr. Breeland thought the world of her and at times would tell little tidbits from their years working together. My mom said she made the best coconut cake and she always wanted to go to Sat market so they could visit! Prayer for your family! I know Mom and Dad are visiting with her now!
