I am so sorry, Pam. Every time I saw him, I came away happier than when I met him. God bless.

Dear Pam, Kaye Bender just sent me the sad news about Jamie. I immediately recalled how devoted he was to you, your career, your education, your illness. My heart goes out to you and the boys. Just know that so many of us are sending our love and encouragement during this time.

I am so sorry to hear this. I have worked with Jamie as a electrical/electronics distributor for many years. When he was at Constar in Jackson, and recently at Chemstar. He was very intelligent, a gentle personality, and a great person. He was a pleasure to work with. I pray that God will give the family comfort. He will surely be missed. Heaven got a good one.

Prayers of comfort for you Pam and family. Jamie had a true gift of encouragement and lifting people up! I never saw him not smiling unless... he was playing some kind of joke on you.. I also know the pain of losing a spouse of many years so just know that my heart hurts so much for you! Every time I saw you both together I could see the love that has withstood the test of time! Isaiah 57:1-2 brought me much comfort. May you feel God's arms around you during these very difficult days and know that you have many friends praying for your family. He certainly will be remembered by the class of 1983 as the funniest person I know! Heaven is one happy place I'm sure to have him!

I only worked with Jamie only a handful of occasions. However, from the very first day I met him, I was impacted by his personality and the way he carried himself. What a honest, thoughtful, down to earth man he was. He seemed to care for everyone, almost as if they were part of his family. My condolences to his family. I'll carry a piece of Jamie's memory with me, as I'm sure you all are too.

Jamie was one of the kindest souls I've ever known. We became friends in 1st grade. I never saw him angry or ill with anyone. I agree with Angie above...he was "such a sweet classmate and friend". May God comfort your souls during this most difficult time.

I knew Jamie many years ago, when we both worked at Constar. He was a very nice guy with a great sense of humor; very knowledgeable and always willing to share his knowledge. I am very sorry to learn of his passing. My condolences to his family and friends.

    Pam,

I’m so sad about this. Jamie was one of the kindest, gentlest souls I’ve ever known, and I know you are devastated. Jimmie Cross thought he hung the moon, and you know she was such a great judge of character. I’m pretty sure she was waiting right there at heaven’s gate. We’ll be praying for you and the kids.

    ‘Love you,
