Mary Nell Britt Brewer

The graveside service for Mary Nell Britt Brewer will be Noon, Thursday, November 30, at Red Star Cemetery.

Mrs. Brewer, 90, of Wesson, passed away November 25, 2023, at Copiah Community Hospital. She was born in Wesson, November 12, 1933, to Horace Green Britt and Rachel Thomas Falvey. Mrs. Brewer was a faithful and loving wife, mother, and grandmother, she lived to see three great grandchildren as well. The Proverbs 31 woman is described as one who provides food for her family, she sets about her work vigorously, she is clothed with strength and dignity and speaks with wisdom. She was a student of the Holy Scriptures and trusted the Lord with all her heart.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Nathan A. Brewer; her parents; son, Jimmy Dale Brewer; brothers Clyde Emmitt Britt; and sisters, Callie Bell Britt, Agnes Rhea Britt, Gladys Mae Britt Bills, Mavis Ophelia Britt Fuller, and Frances Marie Britt.

Other survivors include her step grandchildren, Ben Stringer, Jr. of Hattiesburg, MS, Kate Sharp of Covington, LA, Kennon Stringer of Brandon, MS, Linda Stringer of Morton, MS; step great grandchildren, Drew Mattera, Chris Mattera, and Eli Mattera all of Covington, LA.
