Dear family and friends of Carl,
On behalf of the United States Submarine Veterans, we offer our sincere condolences at Carl´s passing. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. We are always saddened whenever a fellow "Bubblehead" departs on Eternal Patrol. He served with honor on the USS Chopper SS-342.
To our "Brother-of-the-Phin" we say, "Sailor, rest your oar. We have the watch. Fair Winds and Following Seas." Thank you for your service to our country.
To the family... "may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times in every way. The Lord be with you." 2 Thessalonians 3:16 (ESV).

    National Chaplain, USSVI.

Pamela and I were blessed to have Uncle Carl in our lives. Aunt Edith and Uncle Carl always welcomed us with love and respect into their home. They both were a happy and blessed couple. We know Uncle Carl is in heaven with Aunt Edith and their two sons, Dudley and Douglas. Rest in Peace Uncle Carl Bardwe...

In memory of Carl Bardwell, (POPS) it is with our deepest sympathies and condolences to his precious family at this time.
We remember him as a dear friend and shared his active US Navy days on submarine,
USS CHOPPER (SS-342). Were privileged to have a strong friendship with Edith, and their sweet twins, Douglas and Dudley, our bond was strong and remained so all these years past. May we see them in Heaven one day.
    The Harris family,
Shirley, Charles III, and Cody Harris
Our Charles Jr (Chuck) rests there now.

Bull and I are so grateful to have known Mr. Carl and Ms. Edith. Met them both while camping at Percy Quin several years ago. We are so sorry for your loss. But what a reunion in heaven it was!!
