A memorial service for Charles Edwin Roberts, Jr. will be held on Saturday, December 21st, at 11 a.m., at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. Visitation is from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.
Mr. Roberts, 66, of Bogue Chitto, MS, died November 3, 2024, at his residence. He was born on November 6, 1957, to Charles Edwin Roberts, Sr. and Betty Moak Roberts Sandifer. He served his country in the United States Army and retired as a Lieutenant Colonel, receiving numerous military honors. Charles enjoyed watching football and Nascar, and he was very interested in genealogy records.
He is preceded in death by his father; grandparents, Julius and Alma Roberts and Ray and Selena Moak; and one sister, Elizabeth Roberts.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Deborah D. Roberts; his mother; children, Eva Rael Rushton (Alexander), Brianna Dale Goodrich (Brian); numerous grandchildren; and bonus children, Heather Jetton (Brad), Holly Rachel (David), Elizabeth Riggs (James), and Hanna McDowell (Donavan). He is also survived by a host of other loving family members and friends.
