Mr. Roberts, 78, of Brookhaven, died January 13, at Ochsner Rush Medical Center in Meridian, MS. He was born September 3, 1946, to Sherman A. Roberts and Myrtis M. Rushing Roberts. He was a mechanic with Pepper Machine & Welding. Mr. Roberts was a faithful husband and loving father, grandfather, and even welcomed great-grandchildren with much love and joy. He enjoyed time spent with his family more than anything. He found great comfort in sitting in his rocker outside and savoring his coffee. He also had a rooster that you could say he had a “love/hate” relationship with. Mr. Roberts will be greatly missed by all his loved ones. He leaves a legacy of strength and integrity.
He is preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Leonard Roberts, Dennis Roberts, and Barney Roberts; grandson, Kennedy Roberts; daughter-in-law, Sarah Walters Roberts; and son-in-law, Justin Rippy.
