Memorial service for Claud Burch will be 11 a.m. Saturday, March 22 at Riverwood Family. Visitation is from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
Claud Burch, 89, of Brookhaven, MS, passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus on March 13, 2025. He was born on October 3, 1935, in Picayune, MS, and lived a full and blessed life.
Claud proudly served his country in the United States Air Force from 1955 to 1958. A hardworking man, he held many jobs throughout his life, including truck driving, auto mechanics, auto body repair, television repair, welding, and even managing a skating rink. No matter the job, he poured his heart into it.
He was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Terrissa Ann, for 45 wonderful years until her untimely passing in 2005. Their love and legacy continue through their family—three children, eight grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren.
A faithful and loving member of Macedonia Baptist Church, Claud's life reflected his deep faith. He found joy in the simple things—riding his lawnmower, planting tomatoes, and reading his Bible. He never met a stranger and could strike up a conversation over something as simple as a can of vegetables in the grocery store. His kindness, humor, and wisdom touched countless lives.
Claud Burch will be deeply missed, but his love and legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
