Graveside service for Mrs. Mavis Ann Walker Warren will be 3 p.m., Friday, May 15, 2020, at
Union Hall Baptist Church Cemetery. There will be a family visitation from 12:30-2:30 p.m.
Friday before the service at Riverwood.
Mrs. Warren, 82, of Brookhaven, passed from this life on May 13, 2020. She was born November 16, 1937,
to Emmitt Roy Walker and Lexie M. Allgood Walker. During her lifetime she worked many jobs as
well as cared for her husband and sons. She was a seamstress with Sthal Urban for a season and
then she worked with Bellsouth Telephone. Flowers were a favorite pastime for her. She loved
the beauty and fragrance of each one. Mavis was a loving wife, mother, grandmother to 20 beautiful
grandchildren, and great grandmother of 13. She enjoyed a life well-lived along with the sorrows
and pains that she endured and will be missed by all the knew and loved her as well as her family
of friends at Union Hall Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents and three sons, Mike Nations, Dennis Nations, and Johnny Nations.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Jesse James Warren; sons, Roy Nations and wife, Liz,
Chris Nations, Jesse James Warren II and wife, Trisha, and James Donald Warren; brothers, Emmitt Paul Walker
and wife Betty, William Daniel Walker, and wife, Paula, James Randall Walker and wife, Rose; sisters, Sandra Kay Crane
and husband, Jerry and Patricia Fay Foster and husband, Darius; and her 20 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held for Mr. Charles Virgil Case at 3 p.m., Thursday, May 14, 2020, at Gum Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Case, 84, of McCall Creek, died May 11, 2020, at his residence. He was born February 15, 1936, to Homer L. Case and Modena Keen Case. He was a business owner and a member of New Salem Baptist Church. Mr. Charles came up in a time when life values were high, and he was taught the importance of hard work and family. Aside from his business, he enjoyed syrup making and hauling fresh produce. He was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award in Franklin County. Mr. Charles will be missed by all those who knew and loved him.
Preceding him in death are his parents; brother and sister-in-law, Leonard and Dorothy Case and his grandson, Stephen Patrick Cupit.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Jewell Faye Case; daughters, Linda Cupit and husband, Billy Pat, and Sandy Berry and husband, Mike; brothers, Rev. Lonnie J. Case and wife, Pam and Tony Case and wife, Beth. He is also survived by three grandchildren, Charlie Cupit, Amy Davis, Casey Davis; and eight great grandchildren, Baylor Davis, Reagan Davis, Carter Davis, Peyton Davis, Ada Case, Libby Cupit Thompson, Hadley Davis, and Hudson Davis.
There will be a private graveside service for Mrs. Linda Faye Murray, 10 a.m., Thursday morning, May 14, 2020, at O’Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Murray, 74, of Meadville, passed from this life May 12, 2020 at her residence, Aston Courts, in McComb. She was born December 10, 1946, to her parents, J.J. Wallace and Vera Maye Grooms Wallace. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Mrs. Linda will be missed by all those that knew and loved her.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Murray, Sr. ; parents; and her son, Bobby Murray Jr.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Lisa Chisholm and husband, Thomas and Christi Thornton and husband, Steve; brothers, Dennis Wallace and Kenneth Wallace; sisters, Clarece Dier and Sharron Smith; nine grandchildren, Heidi Young, Brittany Griffen, amber Springs, Hunter Thornton, Tori Rippy, Bobby Grace Thornton, Linday Fulmerhouser, Izabel Thornton, Briar Thornton; and six great grandchildren, Zoey King, Roper Young, Sophie Young, Zoey Fulmerhouser, Maddie Spring, and Carter Spring; as well as other loving family members and friends.
Graveside Service for Mr. Richard “Ricky” Charles Marbury will be held on Tuesday, May 12, 2020, at 1:00 pm at Riverwood Memorial Park.
There will be a family visitation from 11:00 till 1:00 at Riverwood Family.
Richard “Ricky” Charles Marbury, 60, of Bogue Chitto, passed away on May 9, 2020, at his residence.
He was born on August 16, 1959, to the late Charles Ray Marbury and Lavelle King Marbury.
Mr. Marbury enjoyed farming, fishing, hunting, and being with his family and friends.
He will be missed by all that knew and loved him.
Preceding him in death were his parents and brother, Donald Marbury.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Dana Colette Marbury; son, John Ray Marbury; daughter, Latonya Walker, and husband, George;
brother, Jimmy Marbury, and wife, Margaret and sisters, Linda Dunn and husband, Kenneth and Connie Smith and husband, Paul.
He is also survived by his 6 grandchildren, Tyler Wilcoxson, Dalton Wilcoxson, Robin Wilcoxson, Arizona Wilcoxson, John Richard Marbury, Jace Marbury, and great-granddaughter, Gabbie Storey.

Funeral services will be held on May 13, 2020, for Mr. Roger C. Boyd, 85, of Brookhaven. He died May 9 at Select Specialty Hospital in Jackson.
Mr. Boyd was a native Mississippian, born in Ruleville and raised in Brookhaven. He was a graduate of Brookhaven High School, Copiah-Lincoln Jr. College,
and Mississippi College. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. His career as a public accountant spanned almost 60 years, with offices in Monticello and Brookhaven.
He followed the St. Louis Cardinals Baseball Club with an absolute passion. He was also an avid supporter of all athletic programs at the University of Southern Mississippi.
He was a longtime member of the Mississippi Association of Public Accountants and was honored as their "Accountant of the Year" in 2018.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Ann Ray Boyd; his parents, Kary and Edith Rushing Boyd; and two brothers, Dan Boyd, and Fred Boyd.
He is survived by his sons, Scott Boyd (Retta) of Macon, and Eric Boyd of Brookhaven; a sister, Shirley Leggett of McComb; five grandchildren, Christopher Boyd and
Natalie Boyd Warnock, both of Memphis, Tenn.; and Leah Boyd Barry, Jacob Boyd, and Gillian Boyd, all of Brookhaven; a great-grandson, Henry Boyd Warnock of Memphis, Tenn.;
and a number of cousins, nieces, nephews.
The funeral service will be held at Riverwood Family Chapel at 3 p.m. with Rev. Garland Boyd officiating. Burial will follow at Riverwood Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Christopher Boyd, Jacob Boyd, Steve Clyburn, Mike Windham, Scott Warnock, and Cameron Barry. Honorary pallbearers
are Frank Malta, Malcolm Rogers, Watts Davis, T.L. Hill, Harold Case, and Tom Corkern.

Robert Carol Lofton, 69, of Hazlehurst, MS, passed away peacefully on May 9, 2020, at Hospice Ministries of Ridgeland.
He was born on January 16, 1951, to the late W.D. Lofton, Jr. and Laura Sue Ezell Lofton.
Mr. Lofton grew up in Brookhaven and graduated from Brookhaven High School, Copiah-Lincoln Jr. College, and Mississippi College.
He was a Graphics Reproduction Specialist at the Mississippi Department of Transportation for many years.
He was a member of First Baptist Church of Crystal Springs.
Preceding him in death were his parents and also his grandparents: W.D. Lofton, Sr. and Bertha Walker Lofton; J. Brooks Ezell and Katherine Gay Ezell.
Bob was a friend and a treasure to all who knew him.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Paula Lofton; daughter, Sarah Ballow;
brother, Bill Lofton (Lynne); sister, Sue Lofton Stevens (John); sister-in-law, Susan A. Webb; nephews, Will Lofton (Grace Anne), Lane Lofton (Anna),

Ruby Mae Shephard Hart, 82, of Ruth, passed from this life on May 9, 2020, at Countrybrook Living Center. She was born on August 29, 1937, to Tommy Lee Shephard and Fannie Mae Tracey Shephard.
Mrs. Ruby retired from Walmart where she worked in the Jewelry Department. She loved sewing, quilting, planting flowers and plants and most importantly her grandbabies. Mrs. Hart was also a member of Heucks Retreat Baptist Church.
Preceding her in death were her parents; and husband Charles Clinton Hart.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Joey Hart and wife Annette, Dale Hart and wife Jennifer, Mike Hart and wife Tommie and Ginny Hart Simmons; one sister, Lorine Dunn and twelve grandchildren, Jeff Grimes, John Grimes, Jonathan Hart, Samantha Hart, Clinton Hart, Thomas Hart, Micheal Hart, Chase Hart, Andrew Hart, Addison Hart, Emilie Hart and Charlee Hart. She was also survived by ten great grandchildren.

Mr. Allred, 54, of Bogue Chitto, passed from this life, May 5, 2020. He was born December 15, 1965, to his parents, Thomas Earl Allred and
Brenda Gail Davis Brown.
He graduated from Bogue Chitto High School where he played football and baseball.
Hunting and fishing are what he loved most, and was an outstanding truck driver.
Preceding him in death were his parents; grandparents, T.J. and Nell Allred,
and Travis and Lottie Davis.
Those left to cherish his memory are his brothers, Michael Allred and Neil Allred
both of Bogue Chitto. He is also survived by nephews, Alan Michael Allred, Jackson Allred, and John Paul Allred.

Thomas Willard Price, 85, of Hempstead TX went peacefully to be with his Lord on May 2, 2020.
He was born on August 24, 1934, to the late Ray Wesley Price and Tommie Lee Boone Price.
Mr. Price graduated from Brookhaven High School and attended LSU & Lamar University.
He was a Senior Technologist Assistant for Texaco in Port Arthur, TX for 40 years, and was a member of the First Baptist Church Hempstead.
Preceding him in death were his parents; wife, Jane Clements Price; brother-in-law, Harold Weeks, and sister-in-law, Kelsey Weeks.

Mr. James R. Brown, 85, of Brookhaven, passed away on May 3, 2020.
He was born on January 7, 1935, to the late Clifford McKinley Brown and Lee Etta Wilkinson. He was retired from Chevron
and was a member of Jackson Street United Methodist Church. He will be missed by all that knew and loved him.
Preceding him in death were his parents; granddaughter, Courtney Marie Case; brothers, Clifford Brown, Jr., Alvin J. Brown,
sisters, Opal Hare, Mickey Bosworth, and son-in-law, Michael A Carr.
